Showdowns in poker
Unless one Player makes a bet that no-one calls, there will be some kind of a showdown. This is done in a particular order, starting from the first player to the left of the dealer. That player must turn over both their cards for everyone to see. If that is the best hand, the rest of the players will usually just throw away their hands and the first player collects the chips. If a following player has a better hand, they will also turn their cards when it is their turn to act. Slow-rolling (first waiting until the previous player thinks they won before you turn over your cards) is bad etiquette. When you have won, turn over your cards when it is your time to act and claim the pot.
