Two elderly gents……
One day the 2 elderly gents that had been friends for many decades, were sitting on their porch enjoying a cup of tea. They usually enjoyed chatting about all the poker games that they’ve played in the past. Discussing those big hands that got away, those big pots lost and won……. Suddenly the one friend said: “Jack, you will never guess what great poker game I saw on the telly yesterday!” Jack took a sip of his tea, sighed and said: “Yes John? Tell me a bit about it. Where was the game played?” John suddenly frowned. “Gee Jack, for the life of me I can’t remember the name of the Pokerroom now. Ehm.” They sat quiet for a while. Suddenly John sat up straight. “Jack, what do you call that flower again that smells so nice?” Jack thought for a bit “Those very sweet white flowers that is now in bloom there in my courtyard?” John shook his head. “No, those pretty ones that smell so nice with the thorns……” Jack sits up….. “Ah, you mean Roses?” John smiles broadly – “Yes, that’s it!” Then he suddenly leans back towards the house and yells: ”Rose, hey Rose, what was the name again of that Pokerroom that we watched on the telly last night?”
